Buildings
It starts at home

Our new HQ is a testament to our commitment.

  • Built to passive-house standards, around 60% of its energy consumption is via PV-Panels
  • Stored in battery banks, this green energy is used for both the building and EV-charging points for our fleet and employees’ electric vehicles.
  • We have switched to local energy suppliers who can provide green renewable energy certificates for their power supply.
  • Technology that mitigates energy usage is installed across the building including motion-activated LED lights and air conditioning with a state-of-the-art heat-recovery system.
  • We have our own well which supplies water to the entire building and have rainwater harvest and filtration technology for truck washing.
  • Beehives are kept on the grounds of the building to help support the natural ecosystem.

We are proud to be a TAPA TSR certified operator
  • 100% of diesel combustion engines across our fleet are equipped with state-of-the-art Eur06 low-emission engines.
  • In 2022 we have introduced HVO-100 as a bridge fuel.
  • We have introduced electric vans and will commission two zero-emission rigid e-trucks and another crew cab in Q3 this year.

Apprenticeships
Apprenticeship Programmes

Our people are our powerhouse. We constantly develop ourselves and our people, and look for opportunities to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

We pride ourselves on providing equitable opportunities for apprentices to join our company, with the exciting prospect of creating long term careers. With this in mind, our apprenticeship programmes have been taken to a new level.

As a proud founding member of the Logistics Associate Apprenticeship, to date, we have had 4 successfully completed apprenticeships in this area, and this number will continue to rise.

Having expanded our range of apprenticeships, we currently have the following underway:

  • We’re in the implementation processes for ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, 45001, and 27001 certifications.
  • Our workflow is managed through Microsoft Teams and SharePoints providing a secure collaboration tool. Projects can be tracked, resources shared and news communicated across the company including a monthly newsletter keeping everyone up to date.
