Dedicated Transport Planner
As a client of ATC, you are provided with a dedicated transport planner. The role of our transport planner is to manage the logistics behind the operation and be the lead point of contact for the project, ensuring your data centre is moved efficiently and safely from A to B, right through to floor position and installation.
Experienced Data Centre Installers
We have overseen the installation of approximately 25,000 – 30,000 racks over 80 Data Centres across Europe, all with different requirements and logistical challenges. With this experience comes the knowledge to advise you on the optimal design of your data centre to ensure no delays on deployment day.

Should there be a need for your inventory to be stored overnight while on the route, ATC has secure warehouse facilities positioned throughout Europe.
The purpose of these facilities is to ensure that your goods remain with us at all times during transport, and are monitored in our lock tight, TAPA FSR certified facilities.

Technical Services
From decommissioning your current equipment in Data Centre A to reinstating its exact position at Data Centre B, our Data Centre installers will work with our Planners and your team to ensure that everything is set up efficiently as per the SLA.
ATC’s Data Centre Relocation Process
Step 1
Transport Planner Assigned
ATC assign a transport planner to the client and engage in a scoping meeting to identify project requirements and any prerequisites such as environmental, hardware or software.
Step 2
Planning
The transport planner works internally with our drivers and data centre installers to list key resources and dates required per SLA.
Step 3
Secure Transport of Assets
Once planning is approved the secure transport of assets to the assigned data centre location takes place. During this time, the appointed Transport Planner keeps a close eye on the route and in real-time contact with the drivers to ensure they are on the most efficient and safe road to meet the deadline.
Step 4
Rack Installation
Inventory arrives at the data centre location, and ATC’s specialist team of data centre installers assemble the racks.
Step 5
Reverse Logistics
All packaging is removed from the premises and returned to the place of origin or recycling centre by ATC.
