Reverse Logistics

Returning and Disposal of Data Centre Inventory Packaging Sustainably

Find out more

Benefits of ATC’s Reverse Logistics Service

One of our company values is sustainability, which means that central to our operations is ensuring that our methods and materials leave as little as a mark on our environment.

Our reverse logistics service focuses on removing and recycling packaging that is left after a data centre deployment. This service applies to Hyperscalers, Freight Forwarders and Cloud Based Companies.

We follow three well-known principles under this service; Reduce, Re-use, Recycle.

Why Choose ATC as Your Reverse Logistics Manager

Reduce Packaging Waste

ATC works with a certified global packaging partner to introduce lightweight, recyclable packaging solutions to ensure your inventory remain secure while protecting the environment.

Re-use Packaging

As the title “Reverse Logistics” says, we transport the empty packaging back through our supply chain to its point of origin in consolidated shipments, where you can opt to re-purpose this packaging for further distribution.

Recycle Packaging

Our goal is to reduce the use of single-use plastic in our materials. Any returned packaging that does not fall within the “Re-use” category is put forward for recycling.

ATC’s Reverse Logistics Process

Step 1

Meet with Client

ATC meet with the client to establish what the empty packaging will be used for post-deployment.

Step 2

Separate Packaging

The ATC team gather and separate the packaging that is to be re-used from the recycle pile and loads onto truck.

Step 3

Transport

The empty packaging is taken back by ATC to assigned location.

Step 4

Usage

Packaging is either re-used for further deployments or put in for recycling.

"Protecting our environment for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren is incredibly important to my team and I. We constantly put effort into our fleet and operations to ensure we meet environmental standards for legal compliance and our own corporate social responsibility.

In addition, our carbon footprint feeds into the data centres that we work with and who have invested in 100% renewable energy, so we as a company must be compliant with those standards put in place by our clients.

There is always more to do, but I’m proud to say that ATC is driving the movement in our industry towards a cleaner and safer environment."
