ATC Drives Forward with New European HQ
In 2018/2019, it became evident that the business was outgrowing our two facilities in West Dublin, Ireland. A new larger facility was imperative to support an expanding team and our growing service portfolio.
One day while scouting along Dublin’s N7, a stone’s throw from our current premises, I saw a plot of land to the right-hand side for sale. I instantly knew this was where we needed to be, so I pulled over the car, picked up the phone and within several days, we had secured our new home.
It took countless amounts of paperwork and time, but just before Christmas 2019, we were granted that much sought after planning permission to move ahead.
Due to the pandemic, we have endured several delays, but I’m delighted to report that we are just about set to open the doors to our European HQ.
Given that it is a newly constructed facility, we have been fortunate to be able to put our stamp on the building and deliver on some key priorities we have:
Environmentally Friendly Premises
We have spoken many times about our unwavering commitment to the environment and our mission of being a carbon-neutral business. It’s imperative to us that our new building is fully equipped with the most modern systems to ensure optimum energy efficiency. Some features included are; on-site Solar PV, rainwater recycling, heat pumps and heat recovery systems.
FSR Standard Compliant
We have invested a great deal of time and resources to ensure that our operations align with industry safety and security standards; we have even won awards for our efforts. Upon completing the building work, we will enlist TAPA to audit our facility and procedures to ensure we meet and exceed the Facility Security Requirements (FSR). The FSR represents the minimum standards for secure warehousing and in-transit storage within the supply chain and will give our clients continued peace of mind.
A Welcoming Environment for Staff
Our greatest strength is our staff, and we celebrate their professionalism and personalities. Our new HQ will provide a bright and welcoming environment, kitted out with all of the latest equipment to enjoy while also supporting their tasks efficiently and effectively.
Facilitating New Services
Our new HQ is located on the main artery to Ireland’s data centre hub and Dublin Port. But, another critical reason why we are making this move is to facilitate our growing services list, which we will share more on in the coming weeks as we also launch a new website.
